We are a cultural initiative promoting films in Spanish. We work with the most reputable venues in the world developing stimulating programming. We scout films at venues such as Sundance, IDFA, Cannes, Toronto to create our own film series and commissioned programming. We do work with major US film centres including New York MoMA, The Film Society of Lincoln Center, Tribeca Cinemas, and Harvard Film Archives.

Five years ago, Pragda founded ShortMetraje, a Spanish short film series hosted by The Film Society of Lincoln Center. In 2004 the series travelled to 15 US cities, London (Spanish Film Club) and México DF (Espacio Cine). Pragda also brought the first Spanish documentary series to NYC and has conceptualized and coordinated events such as the 50th Anniversary of the Valladolid Film Festival, among many other activities.

After five years of promoting, exhibiting, distributing and programming films in Spanish throughout the US, Pragda has become one of the most innovative promoters of Spanish films. We are well known for our creative marketing and publicity strategies, attracting passionate audiences to the shows and events.

Additionally, we work with up and coming initiatives in Spain and abroad, such as the New European Film Festival (NEFF) and the prestigious Medina del Campo's Semana de Cine.

Come and enjoy our events! We will stimulate your senses and widen your horizons.

If you are interested in hosting any of these programs, please contact info@pragda.com.
