The FESTIVAL OF NEW SPANISH CINEMA is back! From the 15th to the 18th of October 2010, the third edition of this travelling Festival will bring the latest works of Spanish filmmakers to the Rice Cinema in Houston.
Organized by PRAGDA and Rice Cinema. With the support of Tourist Office Spain, the Embassy of Spain in Washington and the Consulate of Houston. Additional support comes from Ministry of Culture of Spain-ICAA, Iberia Airlines, American Airlines, La Casa de España, Department of Hispanic Studies at Rice University, Office of Multicultural Community Relations at Rice, Tintos Restaurant and Freixenet. Special thanks to the Center for the Study of Languages at Rice University.

Monday Oct. 18 3.00 pm at Rice University, Room SH303: We are honored that Adán Aliaga, screenwriter and director of Stigmata will be in person to discuss his filmmaking process and present his multi-prizewinning documentary My Grandmother’s House (2005, 80 mins).
