This series centers on a generation of independent artists whose innate non-conformism forced them to produce, distribute and exhibit movies in secret within Barcelona, and to expand it throughout Spain, with utmost secrecy and anonymity during the dictatorship of the Gral. Francisco Franco (1939-1975). It includes interviews and testimonies of Pere Portabella, Llorenc Soler, Joseph M. Ramón, Manuel Esteban, Antoni Padros, Carles Barba, and others. The series was produced by TV3 and won the City from Barcelona prize for Best Audiovisual Production (2003), the special prize of the Jury Sant Jordi for Cinematography (2004), and the Prize Collegi of Cinema Directors of Catalonia (2004).
