Every September, the FILM SOCIETY OF LINCOLN CENTER organizes LATINBEAT, one of the city’s most successful film series. LATINBEAT 2007 featured 23 films from 12 Latin American countries, including a strong presence from often underrepresented filmmaking countries. Now, for the first time, FILM SOCIETY OF LINCOLN CENTER in collaboration with PRAGDA, presents it in Spain. A selection of six titles that premiered in New York City during 2007 will visit Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. These films coming from Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil, Colombia and Bolivia will portrait the trends in Latinoamerican filmmaking!
